Kirkby Design was founded in September 2009, becoming part of The Romo Group, as an innovative brand of high-performance fabrics with contemporary collections featuring very sophisticated designs and color palettes. One of its distinguishing values lies in the creation of fabrics with characteristics that meet British regulations regarding upholstery and textile finishes in corporate or public spaces, a requirement they achieve by paying special attention to fire-retardant treatments. Being aware that technical requirements are not the only important factors, they study in depth the methods used to achieve finishes with the best touch and a pristine appearance.

This brand has become in recent years an essential in the creation of unique spaces for interior designers, furniture manufacturers, upholsterers, and retail companies.
